Terms of Service
Last updated: March 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These terms govern your use of Developer Weekly Digest (“the Service”), a service operated by Tobe Labs. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Developer Weekly Digest is a software-as-a-service application that generates weekly engineering digest reports from GitHub pull request data and delivers them to configured recipients via email with optional PDF attachments.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send unsolicited or spam emails.
- Add recipients who have not consented to receiving digest emails from you.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
5. GitHub Integration
The Service accesses your GitHub data through an authorized GitHub App installation. You may revoke this access at any time through your GitHub settings. We only access repository metadata and pull request data for repositories you explicitly select.
6. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid features are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Subscription terms, pricing, and refund policies are governed by Paddle's terms of service. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.
7. Free Plan Limits
The free plan includes limited usage (1 project, 1 repository, 1 recipient). Exceeding these limits requires a paid subscription. We reserve the right to adjust plan limits with reasonable notice.
8. Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including project configurations and recipient information. Generated digest content is derived from your GitHub data and belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
